happy at Christmas:
For the people who contribute to this great secular
festival,
Makers of cards and tinsel, toys and plastic trinkets,
Temporary
shop assistants,
Father Christmases,
Housewives and husbands
Working
hard in the kitchen.
All those people...
....for whom Christmas is a
time of stress and overwork.
Give them peace, we pray,
Let them find a
moment in which
To let Christmas be Christmas for them too.
