God our Friend,
We pray for lorry drivers,
With their long
hours and punishing work,
As they struggle through the traffic trying to
keep to time,
At the same time knowing that
A moment's inattention
turning left
Will leave them with someone dead under their wheels.
God
give them strength to bear the burdens.
Lord, in your mercy...
Hear
our prayer.
We pray for crane and fork lift truck drivers,
As
they face the hazards of their work.
God, may they, and all they are
responsible for,
Be safe.
