Spirit of God, Fire and Wind,
Breath of
Creation,
We pray for steelworkers,
Dealing with fire and power and
danger
To make the most basic of 21st century needs.
Yet their jobs are
fragile, easily blown away
As the economy changes.
God preserve them in
a time of uncertainty,
Give them security in a time of insecurity.
Lord,
in your mercy...
Hear our prayer.
