God our Creator,
We pray for people who work
on the machines that make things,
Things we all need, want and use.
We
remember their fear that one day
The machines won't need them,
For the
number of people in this work is already dwindling:
And we ask you to take
away their fear
And give them a new hope.
We pray for them as their
working lives are taken up
With the needs of the machine,
"Is the
line 'blocked' or 'starved'?"
God help us all to know that with you
We
are not blocked and we are not starved.
