we thank you for ministers and
priests, church community workers and church leaders.
Give them strength,
courage and integrity,
and help them laugh.

How is it
that such a gift should be
traded?
Whatever brings people to this occupation,
desperation, a
mother's desire to provide for her children,
addiction, the threat of
violence,
or a free and knowing choice,
whatever it is that brings them
here,
we pray for your blessing for them.
We pray for healing from
disease,
safety from violent punters,
freedom from harassment,
dignity
and hope.
May they be eternally
within your love.
