Prayer from the Occupational Cycle;-

"Prayer"

We pray for personnel managers,
human resources managers,
by whatever name they are known,
especially those who have the burden
of telling someone their work is no longer needed.
Strengthen them
to do their task without fear
or evasion.
We remember the power of those words;-
"letting him go", "redundant", "downsizing","the sack"
and place ourselves in the hands
of a greater power.
